Nvision Update
Written by Cooper McKay

We had a great match against Team Dejavu. We won 5-0. Lol, you can hear the PMS/H20 girls in the background "coaching" and annoying BAWLS advertistments and way too loud techno, but overall a good match :D Check out our youtube for more Nvision videos!

more Heavy updates

Today we see part 5 of the heavy update- a new gametype: "Arena Mode".
Focusing more on team work this mode has little or no health packs and NO respawns.
The new mode should take more strategy to keep your team alive, which makes picking classes extremly important.

The new gametype comes with two new maps Lumberlyard and Ravine. Well, Granary, and Badlands have been redone for this gametype as well. The new maps are small enough for 3v3 but also scalable up to 12v12.

I can't wait to see what the 6th and final update for the heavy is but this seems to be a game changing update so far.

Geforce Owners Now PPU PhysX Owners
Written by Administrator

At last! The fruits of capitalism --more specifically the merger between Aegia and Nvidia-- hath been given in the form of GPU PhysX support!

For those of you living in a cave playing console for the past year, Aegia the company known for its Physics err PhysX PPU was bought by Nvidia. After the two former competitors were done settling their differences, slowly began the engineering of drivers that would enable PhysX hardware support on existing Geforce GPU's. After wayyy tooooo looooooong, they finally released STABLE drivers which officially bring PhysX support to all Geforce 8, 9 and 2XX series owners.

This means that your Nvidia GPU now has hardware acceleration for PhysX in games. This is great but is it enough to persuade dev's to code support for hardware PhysX? It's already been proven that ATI drivers can be hacked to support PhysX and for awhile now many have touted in game physics as the next huge revolution in gaming, but with the lack of a unified API and developers forced to choose between ATI and Nvidia's offerrings... it looks like a slow road ahead for our beloved destructible environments. Hopefully a new API will soon develop forcing Nvidia and Ati to shake hands so development can realllly begin on hardware physics enabled games; till then you Geforce owners will have a 1 up on Ati fanboys in the form of fucking TORNADOS.

Note: Tweakguides has revised their Nvidia driver optimization guide to incorporate thlatest PhysX additions, highly recommended for anyong looking to optimize their setup with proper 1337ne$$.
